رئيس الوزراء السيد نوري كامل المالكي يفتتح شارع المتنبي بعد اعادة اعماره

افتتح رئيس الوزراء السيد نوري كامل المالكي صباح اليوم ببغداد شارع المتنبي بعد اعادة بنائه واعماره ، بحضور حشد كبير من المثقفين والمسؤولين.
وقال سيادته في كلمة القاها بحفل الافتتاح ، ان شارع المتنبي يمثل ذاكرة العراق والثقافة والمثقفين ، وهو ليس مكاناً لبيع الكتب فحسب، بل هو المغذي للحركة الفكرية في العراق ، ونحن نفتخر بمايمثله هذا المكان العزيز من معان تاريخية وحضارية ، وندعو المثقفين واصحاب المكتبات للعودة الى الشارع وانعاش حركة الكتاب الذي يمثل الروح التي يتحرك بها المجتمع .
وتساءل رئيس الوزراء : لماذا استهدفوا شارع المتنبي والكتاب المستقل المحايد ، ولماذا دمروا جسر الصرافية الذي يخدم جميع العراقيين، أليس هو الحقد والتخريب والرغبة بمنع بغداد من ان تكون عاصمة للثقافة ، ومحاولة لمحو ذاكرة العراق الثقافية والانسانية .
واضاف سيادته : كانت الايام التي استهدف فيها الارهابيون شارع المتنبي وجسر الصرافية وغيرها من معالم بغداد، هي بداية لخطة فرض القانون التي نجحت في بسط الأمن والاستقرار واعادت الحياة الى بغداد، مشيدا بالارادة العراقية الصلبة ، وبتظافر الجهود الوطنية المخلصة لمواجهة الهجمة الارهابية الشرسة والتوجه نحو بناء واعمار العراق .
وتابع :اذا كانت حركة البناء قد توقفت عشرات السنين بسبب سياسات النظام البائد الذي استهدف الحياة والثقافة، فقد عقدنا العزم اليوم على على اعادة اعمار العراق ، بالاستفادة من الكفاءات والخبرات والمهندسين العراقيين .
ووجه السيد رئيس الوزراء الشكر لكل الذين بذلوا الجهود وللسيد امين بغداد وجميع المهندسين والعاملين لانجازهم حملة اعمار وبناء شارع المتنبي.
وقد افتتح السيد رئيس الوزراء تمثالا للشاعر ابي الطيب المتبني ،و تجول في شارع المتنبي ومكتباته ، وجلس في مقهى حسن عجمي ، واطلع على معرض للصور الفوتوغرافية تجسد المراحل التاريخية لشارع المتنبي، مرورا بتعرضه الى تدمير بفعل عمل ارهابي في شهر اذار من العام الماضي، وانتهاء بإعادة بنائه واعماره بطراز حديث .
